Description
Air-Blowing Micro cable (JETnet®) technology is for optical cable installation by air-blowing method, originally invented by Dutch Draka Comteq (former NKF company) now introduced to Chinese market by EFON. This system can be applied to any network construction. The technology of this system is to use air to blow HDPE guided tubes into a buried HDPE or PVC duct. Then the micro non-metallic optical cable is installed by air-blowing into the guided tube. This methodhas a breakthrough over the limit of present cable bury technology and increases the usage efficiency of cable duct. And it also easily makes the cable branching and enlarges the cable capacity in all direction.

Fast installation of micro optical cable by air-blowing and with long distance, largely increase the bury efficiency. By installing Y-connector, branching of optical cable can be easily done anytime and anywhere without planning for location of splice closure and cable division, and without influence of other cable's operation.
At the same time, use of Y-connector can save lots of hand holes, splice closures and costs economically.
Standard component: Duct-Guided tube-Optical cable
The main components of JETnet® system are “Duct-Guided Tube-Optical Cable”. The duct is usually made with HDPE pipe with silicon inner surface, or made with PVC pipe. The guided tube is extruded with HDPE material. And the optical cable is the micro central tube optical cable.
The sizes of HDPE duct are of Φ25mm, Φ32mm, Φ40mm, Φ50mm, Φ63mm. The sizes of guided tube are of Φ7mm andΦ10mm.
EFON JETnet® cable is non-metallic micro central tube optical cable. The micro cable meets all specifications in mechanical tests and environmental temperature cycling for installation and operation condition in indoor and outdoor applications.
